Cada año, numerosos menores marroquíes logran atravesar solos el Estrecho de Gibraltar rumbo a Europa. Cuando llegan a la tierra prometida todo cambia, se han convertido en inmigrantes ilegales. Quemando el estrecho propone una mirada íntima y personal sobre el mundo de los inmigrantes ilegales, invitando a la reflexión de un problema muy real de nuestros días.

Every year a great number of young Moroccan boys cross Gibraltar Strait by themselves heading to Europe. When they arrive at the promised land things change and they become illegal inmigrants. Quemando el estrecho gives access to an intimate perspective of the world of illegal inmigrants and thereby reflects about a real problem of our present time.
